Mid-Summer roundup

August=Searing heat=summer fun, mid-Summer roundup at CheeseB.

To start, our favourite oyster shucker, Patrick McMurray is travelling to PEI for an event tomorrow night, Aug 6th, The Canadian Oyster Sucking Championships. You can watch it all go down here. The Championship is set to go at 7:30 PEI time (6:30 Toronto time). Good luck Patrick!

From last weekend at the store....back in April who would've thought one Volcano could ground a continent in air travel? Now that the ash has settled--the planes are flying again and Helen Dallimore had a chance to use that raincheck and visit CheeseB. Helen is an expert Cheese representative from Coombe Castle to greet customers with all things cheese from the Kingdom. A taste of what you missed...Helen travels to Canada a few times a year so we'll see if she can make a return visit to showcase more in the near future.

Each summer weekend at CB cannot pass without sampling some BBQ grilled Sausages. Did you know that all these sausages are designed and made in-house? I recommend sampling the 'Hot Italian' first among various styles of sausage available.
Cheese Boutique has been sponsoring local house league teams in a range of sports such as soccer and hockey for a number of years now. We caught up with the Royals High Park T-Ball players and coaches and see the action unfold. Go Royals!

Finally, a SPECIAL Announcement: It is rare that the Cheese Boutique is closed on Saturday that isn't a statutory holiday...please note that this weekend the store will be closed for the day for a family function. Sunday, CheeseB will be back to work for their usual schedule. Have a fabulous day, Arian and Melissa!
